Challenge 25 at handover
You must be 18 or over to order or receive alcohol, tobacco, vape, nicotine or any other age-restricted product.
Every restricted order is checked
- Approved photographic ID is required for every delivery containing an age-restricted product, regardless of apparent age.
- The person receiving the order must be 18 or over and match the ID presented.
- Payment is not proof of age.
- A missing, invalid or mismatched ID, an underage recipient, suspected proxy purchase or intoxication means the restricted goods are withheld and returned.
- Restricted goods are never left unattended, with a neighbour or in a safe place.
What the ledger records
The handover ledger records the check outcome and a reason code. It does not store an ID image, document number, date of birth or descriptive ID notes.

When age-restricted ordering is available, applicable orders are selected and dispatched from Sloane Food & Wine, 73 Lower Sloane Street, London SW1W 8DA, under premises licence 05/914906/7.
